Unlike traditional plastics derived from fossil fuels, HD Bots filament is made from renewable resources like corn starch, sugarcane, and cassava. It’s a natural polymer called PLA (Polylactic Acid), created through an innovative process that ferments plant sugars into lactic acid, which is then polymerized into a strong, biodegradable bioplastic.
