Rona Johnson - Chair

As a founding member of the charity, my involvement stems not only from my acquaintance with Stan during my tenure as a Police Officer but also from working alongside my dear friends Ian and Rebecca Bowley. After 28 years of service, I retired from the Police force.

Married to Mal, we share four adult children, four grandchildren, and a cherished dog. My hobbies include reading, arts and crafts, yoga, skiing, cycling, and spending time in the mountains. I take great pleasure in both organising and participating in the Trust's challenges.

My dedication to CyberKnife technology is profound, and I am committed to making it accessible to everyone in need.

Ian Bowley - Charity Coordinator

Hailing from Draycott-In-The-Clay, Staffordshire, I've been happily married to my best friend, Rebecca, for 23 years (2024), and we share an amazing son, Ethan. I am also a proud father to three equally remarkable adult children from a previous marriage, Charlotte, Mathew and Gemma who all contribute to the Charity. My younger brother was Alan "Stan" Bowley, and my younger sister is fellow trustee Pamela.

As a retired police officer, who now runs my own event management company. Beyond charity work, my greatest passion lies in supporting Derby County F.C. I've been a season ticket holder for life, attending games with my father and now with my two sons. My interests also include Formula One, golf, and a variety of other sports.

My enthusiasm for CyberKnife is profound, having witnessed its incredible impact on people's lives. I am confident that soon, anyone in the UK in need of CyberKnife will have access to it.

Pamela Bowley - Secretary

I was born in 1970, being the third & final child, having 2 older brothers, Ian & Alan (Stan) Bowley, we spent all of our childhood in Draycott in the Clay.

Having been married & divorced, twice, my eldest son is from my first marriage, then my middle & youngest are from my second marriage. I only wanted boys, so I was blessed to have 3, each one of them makes me immensely proud and we are very close, after having a difficult journey along the way. I have recently become a grandma for the first time to a beautiful little girl.

I am now happily cohabiting with my partner, who has three wonderful daughters, and living the best possible life we can, Ian & I having experienced losing our brother, Alan, at a young age, which makes you evaluate life, and live every day like it’s your last.

I work in social housing, heading up an Income Team working on debt recovery, where I have worked for the past 14 years, this isn’t just a job for me, I am very lucky to be one of not too many people who is very passionate about the work they do.
